NerdFamily Update

Sorry I haven't Posted in awhile, a lot has been happening here in the Snider house since I last wrote.

For starters My migraines have decreased to only 2-3 a month lasting only a day or two at a time thanks to my new medication regime. Which means I am able to live life with out feeling like taking a breath is going to make my head explode. (Recent photo of me)

Little Mr. is doing great. He is currently not doing ABA due to one of the major events for our little family. But before we took our break from it he got his IEP from his school FINALLY. It just took the Special Education Director of the school district he was in to get involved for the school to give us a meeting. And with in 35 days we had the IEP in hand. Now for those that have been through the assessment process know it is not always a fast one. For us the school was on more of a crunch because they had already maxed out their time for the original meeting with us. AND they basically made it where they had to complete everything in a month so that we had it in hand before we moved across country. Which brings me to that major event mentioned above.

Well Mr.S came home in early March. And within 2weeks we not only had all of our worldly items packed into boxes and on a truck BUT we were driving to OK for that locational change the Mr.S was given. We now have had our new house for 1 week and as of today we finally have our household goods and have what feels like hundreds of boxes to unpack.

Now back to Little Mr. He started his school within days of us getting our new place and his teacher says he is doing great. We discovered the school is farther ahead of where he was in his last school but he is doing great so far.

We also have wonderful new neighbors who have kids who come over and ask Little Mr. to play everyday since we signed our lease. This is definitely a new experience for us and we are enjoying it so far.

Well that is all for now I will post again once I get more of my house unpacked and my office set up more. this time I promise not to take months.
